Já tinha lido isto no outro dia quando andava à procura de uma lista de possible wonderkids, a propósito daquela cena do Rúben Neves.

Destaco dois pontos:

Nuckinya - More dynamic player growth

Not only this, but more variation in how a player grows. I mean, once the game is mostly regens, all you have to do is buy some 17 year old wonderkid, give him a season or two of games and he becomes world class at 20. All the top team will do this, and it is really unrealistic and takes me out of the immersion of the game. Not every player is Messi, Ronaldo or Fabregas. What about the Drogba’s and Luca Toni’s of the world who were late bloomers. I would love SI to introduce a hidden stat, with say 5 different growth types like: Early Peak (Michael Owen), Early Sustained Peak (Fabregas, Messi), Standard, Late Peak (Scott Parker), Late Sustained Peak (Drogba). With these growth types, combined with other stats like "professionalism" and "natural fitness" we could see a massive variety in the way players grow and sustain that growth, making the game more challenging and exciting when trying to find new players.

"Potential Ability" should be a "soft cap", for example like what a player can realistically achieve(with non-human management) as his current ability but with the right training, match time and experience a player should be able to surpass this "soft cap" with their "potential ability" increasing if he passes it to the next "cap". These "caps" should end with a Hard Cap that a player will NEVER surpass though. Depending on the potential of the player would depend on how many caps he could have. With a maximum being 3 soft caps and a final hard cap.

Filme de Football Manager a caminho

O icónico título da indústria dos videojogos aparecerá em algumas salas de cinema apenas no dia 7 de outubro.

Será um documentário e é descrito pela própria Sports Interactive como um filme que examina o impacto que o franchise teve e irá contar com algumas imagens da nova edição do jogo, Football Manager 2015.

Apenas será exibido em alguns cinemas da cadeia Vue no dia 7 de outubro, embora se a procura do filme emergir poderá ser exibido noutros cinemas. O documentário será mais tarde disponibilizado online.

"O documentário não é sobre a nossa história. É sobre a história das pessoas que entraram na realidade alternativa de serem treinadores de futebol e o efeito que isso teve nas suas próprias vidas, diz o chefe da Sports Interactive Miles Jacobson. "Mas o documentário não é apenas para as pessoas que jogam, é também para aquelas que sempre imaginaram o porquê de os outros passarem imenso tempo neste mundo."

O diretor de marketing e vendas da cadeia de cinemas Vue acrescentou: "Football Manager tornou-se num franchise icónico do pequeno ecrã durante anos e estamos encantados por podermos levar este documentário único para o grande ecrã. O filme é outro experiência de cinema excitante que tenho a certeza que os nossos clientes vão adorar."

Hi everyone,

We’re aware that there’s some buzz and speculation around something that is claimed to be FM15 content that has been circulating online. Some of you have been discussing this in the SIAS Facebook group and I also see a number of you have ran this content on your site.

FM15; it’s feature set, and it’s look, are not yet finalised. As we’ve previously announced, we will be releasing FM15’s feature set in October – not before then. We will also show screenshots and videos at that point. Until then, anything you may see about the game online is just speculation.

Promoting and discussing these images, whilst understandable, will fuel speculation – so we’d really appreciate you guys doing what we plan on telling the wider FM community to do, and that’s ignore it.

All will be revealed in October, and we’re all really looking forward to sharing what we have in store!
