Citar:Adebayor never considered Spurs exit
Emmanuel Adebayor insists he never considered leaving Tottenham in the summer transfer window, despite the addition of Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado to Spurs' attack.
Adebayor appears to have been pushed to the periphery of Andre Villas-Boas' squad, with Soldado used as the preferred option up front for Tottenham's opening three Premier League games.

Adebayor is confident he will become Tottenham's number one attacker.
And with the Spaniard finding the net twice already, Adebayor could have a difficult time establishing himself once more at White Hart Lane.
But the 29-year-old, who was linked with a number of clubs in recent months, had no plans to move abroad.
"I decided with my manager, even before the start of the transfer window that I would not leave Tottenham and that's what I did," Adebayor told All Africa.com. "I have never thought of leaving Spurs. I am here, my family feels great here and I do not see myself in another city."
Despite Soldado, Lamela and Jermain Defoe limiting Adebayor's chances of first team football this season, he is confident of proving himself as Spurs' first-choice striker.
"Today I will not tell you that I'm stronger than Soldado, Defoe or Lamela," he said. "We now have four in the attack, I do not know who ranks first, second or third, but I know at the end I will be the first and it is the most important."
