M'Vila is the first midfielder to join London XXI
The 23-year-old frenchman will leave Rubin Kazan in the next few days
After purchasing eleven players, all of them goalkeepers or defenders, London XXI will now start to reinforce the midfield. The first one to be transferred to this new sensation of world football was Yann M'Vila, the young defensive midfielder who represented Rubin Kazan since January. M'Vila is also an international player for France, couting with a participation in the Euro 2012.
London XXI had to pay 15 million euros to Rubin Kazan to get Yann M'Vila, three millions more than the 12 that the russian club paid to Rennes back in the last transfer window. This player was a special desire of the team's coach, Stuart Pearce, who said: "It is a shame that a player like M'Vila doesn't have the visibility he deserves, playing in Russia. Now he will get that chance".
Many rumours appoint to M'Vila as a second choice to this position, behind Lucas Leiva, who got acquired this week by Racing Club de Avignon.
